I've eaten spam, but I'm not a spammer. I'm a sailor.

I sail down in Texas, and I'm a member of a sailing club and an organization
for my boat. At both there seemed to be something missing in their
websites. Since in my day job I'm a professional software developer in my
day job, I decided to start my own site. I would think to be spammer you
would need a financial motive. (I could be wrong. Who knows what motivates
some people.) Anyway, since I started the site on les than a shoestring
budget, and since I'm not in it to make a dime, I was hoping to get the word
out word of mouth. (It is amazing what you can do with free, open source
software.) I know that there is a fine line between word of mouth and loud
and obnoxious spam. That's why I will only mention the name once, and only
after I get permission from at least one person. After that, the site will
live or die on its own merits. If nobody uses it, my wife would probably be
a bit happier, because then I wouldn't have an excuse to get out of my
honey-dos. (I hope it works. I hate yard work.)
