Used to do the bike thing, although living on the East Coast it was a
three speed Raleigh - used. Eventually, worked up to a 10 speed
"French" bike - I think it was a Motobecane.

We used to race skiffs in the harbor in Marblehead in the spring and
fall when there weren't as many boats. Then there were the lobster
boat races on occasion - usually the result of a bet placed at the VFW
hall. :)
