Anyone have knowledge of the Cape Fear above Fayetteville or a
source
of charts?


Charts? You can follow it on a topo map. The Cape Fear was improved
for
navigation back in the 1800s but there's nothing remotely resembling
a
channel any more. The first rapids are at Raven Rocks a few miles
above
Lillington.
