SoFarrell,
Is it necessary to discuss details as to where you boat, what kind of boat
you own to post in rec.boats?
All security experts agree, one should not give any personal information to
anyone online, unless you are 100% certain they are a safe source. Since
you have seen how Harry and Basskisser have used personal info to make
threats of violence, a prudent person would not post any personal info in
any NG.
The fact that you feel comfortable doing so is of no concern to me.

SoFarrell,
Thanks for your concern about my boat. I have owned a boat for the last
20 yrs. Unfortunately, except for my first used runabout ($2000), they
all have been expensive.
Suppose I followed you around numerous NG, and made comments concerning
your boating skills and stated if I saw you on the bay, I would shot you
with my shotgun, would that **** you off?
I think I asked you about the boat you have now and where you boated now.
You seem evasive. What's your problem?I've got a carolina skiff fishing
boat nothing fancy and an outboard and trollin motor. I use it to fish
for reds and trouts and to set out trotlines for crabs when I have a few
days off from my rr job. I fish in the waters of LaFourche and Terrebonne
parishes. I keep the boat reasonably clean and the motors in tiptop.
You can make all the comments you like about my boating skills. What the
hell would I care? I've been boating and fishing for a long time and I've
not had an accident or drowned anyone. Good enough for me. You seem so
intent on behaving poorly for reasons that are not apparent. We are all
responsible for what we do. Why not be more responsible yourself?
