Skippers identity and hometown were common knowledge in the NG for
years, and it was certainly not I who spilled the beans. While
Skipper's identity was still semi-secret in the NG, he visited me in
Seattle, introduced himself and his wife, and I had his name, street
address, and phone number. During that time I kept his confidence,
despite our many disagreements. After he acknowledged his name and
hometown in the group, I no longer felt required to keep it secret. You
are mistaken on this point.

As far as your accusation that I posted Jim H's name and address to the
NG- you are either mistaken or a liar. Let's go with "mistaken" to give
you the benefit of the doubt.

appearing in the NG it was attached to some SPAM about a boat he had
for sale (a Maxum IIRC).

had details of the boat and perhaps my home phone number. And that was
in the market place of rec.boats or some similar legitimate site.

The boats was listed in the legitimate NG used to post boats and boat
equipment. You know that.

rec.boat.marketplace. If one chooses to chase a phone number to find an
address to post that address in rec.boats and then proceed to make
personal threats to that person and his wife...and if that person takes
the trouble to obtain a picture of ones house.....that person is a stalker
and needs help.
