Seattle, introduced himself and his wife, and I had his name, street

As a point of fact, Skipper posted his name, address and telephone number
several times in a computer newsgroup where he was seeking help for some
sort problem and wanted a phone call.

I had Skipper's "particulars" for years; we sent each other various
boating magazines. He sent me a subscription to a West Coast boating
magazine.

Surprised? You shouldn't be. I've said many times that though I had my
"disputes" with Skipper, most of them were for effect, and that I thought
he was by far the brightest of the righties, and about the only one who
could write.

I'd trade away most of the righties here for the return of Skipper and his
Bilgeliner. In a New York minute.

That's correct. Further, it was Hertvik himself who "revealed" his wife
gave up her teaching job because of a health condition.

Wasn't it Hertvik who posted here as "Dennis"? And also as his "son Jeff"
when he wanted to behave really badly?

enough? Very simple test- did I post JimH's name and street address as

You know, of course, that "Smithers" is now also using anonymizers to add
