It's 5F right now outside my home office window.
I knew we were going to pay for those balmy days last week.
Sheesh.
I got about 20 geese and a few ducks sitting in the back yard,
shivering. If they wouldn't crap on the floor, I'd invite them all in.
But I think I'll just toss them a bag of corn and turn on the heater in
the water trough.
I was going to head down to the Bay later for a look, and to see what
the charter boats were bringing in but...to hell with that. It's the
kind of day that makes one one wants to head for the Bass Pro Shops
superstore at Arundel Mills Mall.
The problem is that they won't let you keep what you catch in the tank.
Just might have to go to Arundel Mills Mall tomorrow.

I haven't been there in a while, but the first time I went, the size and
scope of the BassPro shop just blew me away. And, of course, I had to
examine every Mako on display. I recall spending about six hours in the
store. My wife literally dragged me out of there for the drive home.
And I hadn't even finished handling each and every fishing rod on
display! I recall her telling me that I was "worse than a woman in a
shoe store..."
