Harry,
Did you say " You or a family member are much more likely to have a gun
death in your household if you have a gun. Households without guns only have
to worry about an intruder breaking in and shooting someone. Households with
guns have to worry about intruders and about the guns in the household. " "
Ergo, if you don't have a gun in your house, you are far less likely to be
shot than someone who does.
Also, burglars love to *steal* the guns they find in houses. They're easy to
sell on the street. "
"Well, Igor, I've never been convinced there is a Constitutional *right*
to personal ownership of firearms. I am opposed to personal ownership of
concealable firearms, firearms with large magazines and a few others. "
It appears that you want to restrict handguns, just so long as it isn't your
handgun.

Thanks... nice pics!
Thanks, guys. I'd put up a self-portrait, but every time I try to take
one, my camera reboots.

Saw your site, love the animal photos. You shoot a Glock 17?
I have. And also a Glock 22 and a Glock 34. I rented a Glock 17 at the
range where I learned to properly shoot modern handguns. It's a good
learner's handgun, and 9 mm ammo is pretty cheap. For 9mn, though, I like
the Glock 34 better, because it has a longer sight radius. The Glock 22
shoots .40 S&W.
For household defense, however, my weapon of choice is a 12-gauge shotgun.
In one of his movies Clint, referring to his .44 magnum revolver, said it
would take your head clean off. Well, not likely. But the loads I have in
my 12-gauge would.
