I have a friend who has a 1920's Rolls Royce touring car. He drives it,
but with cars all around it to protect it. Worth about the same as the
"Irving Johnson." It might be an idea to lead a boat like that into
port with a boat with a depthsounder. Maybe forward looking sonar.

I believe that a review will show that sandbars do not magically appear,
it was there. They approached at low tide and thought they were in the
clear.

The boat sat in some pretty heavy surf, in wasn't inside the breakwater.
It did bounce around right next to the jetty, awful to watch.

They got it off, and that's what counts.

Can't help but wonder, though . . .
