Since the Marriott dockmaster said 17-21ft, I'm going to assume the 17ft is
at high tide. So I'll go in at low tide and go slow. I should be able to
tell when I get close whether there will be a problem. They said I can use
the "outside" slip if necessary, so it should have power.

The Mariott has a transient dock on the outside of the bridge(West side)
that might be available, but I don't know about the amenities. Unless the
wind is real bad, you could probably ease up to the clearance to check it,
and then work with the tide to make your approach.
