Broken internal cable?
Just a guess.
The sheath keeps the cable close enough to push it when you push the
throttle. but when you pull it its broke and your pulling on air.

On a dual station (cabin/flybridge) Morse s/twin s control system

come back. The throttle is able to be pulled back in the cabin. The

throttle works perfectly fine in the cabin. On a visual inspection

the
cable between the flybridge and cabin looks fine and looks as though

it
moves when moving the flybridge port lever.

Thoughts???
