Your right Mooron; I have not posted before; on topic or off. I am a
newbie,
interested in learning more about sailing. So I came here. A place, which
I
had hoped, would be spam (OT) free. So you can imagine, or maybe not, my
surprise and disappointment that I had to search for meaningful posts.
Look Lanni... think of it like this... you walk into the Seahorse Tavern and
start right off bitchin' about the regulars and the cut of their jib. What
the hell did you think you think was going to happen? You thought maybe we'd
hand you a trophy for your personal in-depth analysis of this group? We
label the posts OT when it doesn't concern sailing... I would think if you
had a clue you would appreciate that fact! It is not spam nor do we control
spam on an unmoderated group Lanny.. get a clue will you! If you read even a
dozen posts here you'd know what to expect from that comment you made!
You're a big boy now so wipe the frickin' tears okay!
Most of us here have reviewed almost every sailing subject too often to
count!
Maybe try introducing yourself and giving us some background info.. then ask
your questions! Learn some frickin' manners!
But that surprise is minor compared to my shock at your vehemence; and
that
of others. Is this how you folks make a newbie welcome? Is this how you
inspire the growth of sailing? Is this what sailing and sailors are like?
We don't welcome newbies who start shooting off their mouths like they have
something important to say and then act like some freakin' prima donna if
their feelings get hurt! You want a welcome... try a polite intro and don't
think you can waltz in here and demand respect Bucko.
Goodbye
Considering your fragile emotional state it might be better if you do
leave.... cause buddy if you can't take some heat you have no business on a
boat or near the water!
The nerve of some people... really!!
