Wally... your trying to talk Logic to a woman... you may as well beat
yourself in the head with a brick.. it's less painful!

I see she has since attempted a technical explanation...

I've been practicing playing UT2K4 with an all girl clan....
bloodthirsty bitches the lot of them. They had nude female skins done
for their players... they claim it puts the guy's aim off completely.
I believe them......

Do the tits bounce? :-)

... they have me guarding the main Node on
Onslaught. They call me "Ole'Man"... cripes I'm only 49!!! Oh well
it's been a blast so far..... I'm doing really good... ranking right
up there in the middle insofar as kills.

Better than my failed attempts at multiplayer gaming. Went to a LAN party a
few years ago, and got completely trashed at Quake. The best player of group
was sitting next to me - watching him play was amazing. Also had a go at
Delta Force online, but it was chaos - seemed that anything that moved was
fair game, in spite of it being a two-teams game. I think I prefer something
a bit more strategic and slower-paced - I like doing the sniper thing,
either from medium range with a silenced rifle, or from a kilometer or so
away with something very loud and powerful. Return To Castle Wolfenstein has
some excellent single player scenarios for that.

BTW - you ever try a program called IntelliCad? I'm looking for a
field Cad app. to read and do minor alterations to designs during
supervision/inspection.

The name rings a bell, but I haven't used it. There are tools out there for
that use, though - stuff that can let you tweak AutoCAD drawings on a PDA,
for instance. I assume you're talking about a PDA platform - as soon as
you're up to a laptop or notebook, normal AutoCAD will run fine. One of
those tablet notebooks with the flip-around screen might be nice for that -
good screen size and easier to hold than a normal lappy, although I don't
know how easy it would be to drive CAD with just a touch screen interface.

In my field (architectural construction), as-builts and
oh-my-god-it-doesn't-fit-we-made-the-hole-the-wrong-size 'revisions' are
usually fed back as scribbles on the last issue of paper drawings, or faxed
sketches.
