I can't recall more than some bruises and a cut eye.... coupla' hairline
fractures. By far the worst damage I've seen done is what happened to a
buddy of mine as we were walking home from the bar.... It's winter and
minus 30c.. my buddy spots what he believes is a beer can on the side
walk... he runs up and kicks it with everthing he's got... it turns out to
be a portion of a steel post embedded in concrete that was sheared off by
the plow.

When I was young, I used to put a brick into a brown paper bag, and leave it
on the pavement. It was great fun watching people give it a good kick.


Nowadays, I get a similiar pleasure from reading peoples' responses to Joe's
posts.
