I hope you're not suggesting that it's OK for Bush to send us to war because
independent of outside advice, he had a personal belief that there were
WMDs. A hunch? A private message he got from god while wandering around the
ranch? We don't send soldiers to die because of hunches.
Hope no further. I suggested that Bush got his advice from the same
source(s) as Gephardt. Based on the information he made a decision. I
believe he felt no more deceived than Gephardt, who still does not
feel deceived (witness the use of the present tense in his comment to
the Washington Post),
