A category five is no big deal. I rode out Andrew which was a category five and
I suffered no damage other than a torn bimini top. It was six years old and ready
to go, anyway.

The only thing to worry about in a category 5 is the core which is usually less than
fifty miles in diameter. It's easy enough to avoid with the modern tracking methods
and radar and satellite imagery.

280kph winds are nver "enjoyable" and with the seas that go with such
winds, "getting flooded" is the least of your worries!
