I'll have you know that I'm decendent from one of the most famous of
free settlers in Australia. While not the royalty that you snivel
around after, they were certainly not common ;-)

Don't be silly!! They were Australian settlers. Perhaps they didn't seem
common when compared to the "transported" classes?

Prince Charles is in Australia at the moment. I hear that he was greeted
with some traditional words by a group of Aboriginal women -"Please don't
kill us and take all of our land".
