You know..it's not nearly as fizzy as it used to be. My grandmother would
mix Vernor's with milk for stomach aches...it worked really well...better
than milk of mag or Pepto-Dismal...

Root beer isn't common in Oz, not something we grew up with.
Ginger Beer OTOH is very popular.
