extract

In his letter, Rep. Cox acknowledges that in his speech he said,
"We continue to discover biological and chemical weapons and
facilities to make them inside Iraq," so it's absurd for him to
accuse me of misquoting him. His attempt to defend this remark
suggests how unwise it is to rely on Fox News for accurate
information about our world. In fact, I find it terrifying that
someone with as much power as Cox takes Fox seriously -- it's like
the Politburo making policy based on Pravda.

If one cannot address the issue at hand then change the subject to a
personal attack of Fox News as Michelle Goldberg did. yawn

Perhaps if you were to actually *READ* the article, you would find a
transcript of both statements.

I did read it Jimcomma. The big question is whether you did. I
seriously doubt it as you would understand my comment if you did.

What was the add you had to watch to access the article?

Doh. You did not have to watch. There was a link in the upper right
hand corner to jump to the article.

GOTCHA -- Unless you are a subscriber (and I doubt very much you are) you
need to watch an add to access Salon.

Other readers want proof --- go to www.salon.com and see what happens.

Gotcha nothing. I read the first article and I read the link to the
original article.

So why not address my original point rather than trying to act like
Sherlock Holmes.

I just logged off Salon, and went to the link -- you *STILL* get an add.

GOTCHA!!! --- I don't like to use the word "liar", but in your case I'll
make an exception.

Sorry Jimcomma, but I spoke the truth.

I even cleaned my temp and browser settings and again went directly to the
article from the link you posted....no ads or movies I had to sit through
before getting to the article.

First time I went to it, no ad. Went again later and saw a very abbreviated
Cadillac ad. Jimcomma is wrong again.
