Uhhh - warped list. First off you have to decide how important climate
is...and it ain't the same as the other factors. If you can't grow palm
trees half the populaton balks.

Then Boulder City, NV as a retirement destination? You gotta be kidding.
You need to be borderline wealthy to even live there. For those of you
who don't know virtually all the available land around Boulder City is
owned by the City...and they don't sell very much of it. Right out of
one of the 1960 TV family shows.

A wonderful place Boulder City...but if they take in 25 retirees a year I
would be amazed. Three million or so net worth I would think...not a
retirement destination.

Jim Donohue...who sells a lot of retirees homes. .

hey NOYB...
see attached... http://www.hfxnews.com/

A book has been printed listing the top 60 places to retire in North
America, and according to the author's criteria Halifax rates among the
top
ten.. no word if Naples even made the list.

Nevada wouldn't be on my list if they were giving million-dollar houses
away. Neither would Mississippi, Texas, or Alabama. Or Florida below
Orlando in latitude.

Actually Harry you sometimes don't pay attention. Southern Nevada did not
go for Bush. And eventually the south will rule.

For old bodies 6 months in Vegas is better than anywhere in Florida. Three
months are about equal and southern Florida is nicer for three. And the
nice thing is that a real ocean of the deep blue sort is only four hours
away. Then again if one is enamored of the manure enhanced slime of the
Chesepeake it does not matter does it?

I think CNN got paid big bucks for those ads. Naples would be much better than
any of that bunch. Asheville would be great, if it only had an ocean within
driving distance.
