Wooooo... you're gonna be ****ed at me then!! I can work anytime I want
to but prefer to be a burden on society by drawing unemployment benefits
until it suits me to return to work. Currently the government is paying me
to do nothing .... which pleases me to no end!!

Donal, obviously, is unaware of the trend of most employers to lump sick
days, bereavement time off, vacations, etc. all into a general category of
*personal days.* The employee gets a given number of PDs, and if he exceeds
them, he does so without pay, and if it becomes habitual it becomes grounds
for dismissal. Guess Ireland lagging a bit in this regard.
