Yup
I had not only one island but a dozen islands,, but not only had but still
have. Yes, The island of Australia was once mine but I gave it to those who
needed it more. I don't really need it anymore and I never did. Just bought
it for a tax deferral.
I never worry about marina costs, no, when I pull in with my yacht or two,
if we do not like the gas attendant, we buy the place, and tie up where we
want to.
I have to get going, mom is expecting me on the west coast of Florida, I
want to give her a hug before I am off to the east coast for the game. Plus
mom gives me a cheque every once and a while,, he he,, now,, wait,, is she
on the east coast and the game is on the west coast?? hmmmmmmmmmm I better
check with my little darling,, but we lied to mother about her age,, yup,,
poor old mama would be spitting out Chiclets if she knew how old she was,,

Will be moving soon to Phoenix and may consider the San Diego area for
boating. Looks like boats are reasonably priced there...
any good marinas in the area? costs for 30' slip? good destinations?
(still deciding on power vs sail)...
I had my own island right of the San Diego cost, and it is indeed a
graet place to boat.
