I pay for health insurance and I pay for someone elses Medicare. If I don't
work, I still have to pay for health insurance. If I could pay for my health
insurance through taxes I would quit working (pay no taxes) and retire.
Health care would be free because I would pay no taxes. I'd let someone else
pay the taxes.

I concur with the sentiments you present.... but I must ask you...
When is the last time you required medical attention or prescription drugs
to cure an illness or infection? Did you pay ... or did medical insurance?
I rarely see a doctor... once every 2 years maybe. I'm personally happy
that
we have Medicare provided... it's not free and we pay taxes for it.....
but
it's available to everyone. Then again ask your own people why they
flocked
in droves across the Canadian Border to access the 'available' drugs.
