1) Since it is such a hugh issue to you. I realize that your lister
receives the post each time I post, even though I am allowed by Google
to cancel the first to correct a spelling error I did not catch in the
prepost preview, and then repost. As an educator, I would think that
you would appreciate my attempt to spell words correctly. I don't
catch them all, but I try. And I am certain that you have never
misspelled a word, or canceled a posting!

I often make typos, but no, I have never cancelled a posting. This isn't a
spelling contest, so I would rather let my spelling errors stand than post
the same message twice.

2) I don't recall that I ever said I would stop talking to or about
you. If you ask a question or make a statement, indirectly, or
directly to or about me, I reserve the right to respond.

Oh, by all means! I just recall you made a big signoff sort of speech, I
guess I misunderstood the meaning of this:

"As for me, I continue to move on, to enjoy posting here and else where,
and to generally enjoy the whole paddling and usenet experience. Have a good
life Keenan. Thankyou and Good bye, Tinkerntom"

It all seemed so...final. And dramatic. You can see how I might have taken
that to mean, well, "goodbye."

I realize that
it is like spitting into the wind!. If you don't like the flak, stay
out of my airspace. Leave me alone, and I will gladly leave you alone!

Nono. Do as you wish. As I said, I misunderstood the meaning of that post
when I thought you were storming out of the room never to be heard from
again.

3) so 1+2 does not equal anything about me, so much as about you.

1) my postings are irritating to you because you are too sensitive, but
then we all need to be more sensitive, so makes you a model usenet
user.

When you get carried away you don't mess around, you really give it the full
nutter. I like that about you Tinkerntom. Sometimes you see those guys on
the sidewalk making speeches about the coming apocalypse and if they don't
have that real wild look in their eyes, it just isn't convincing.

2) you prolong the personal posting because you like to draw attention
to yourself, but then you are an interesting character, and you bring
out the best in us all. And then maybe the worst as well!

Some classic Tinkerntom there! Your aspirin is screaming for mercy again.

3) So, the way I add it up,
a) if my double postings irritate you, get a thicker skin

Why not learn how to post only once?

If we all posted our messages twice, I am sure you can appreciate there
would be a problem.

b) if you don't like people talking about you, get a thicker skin

Oh, Tinkerntom, I'm afraid you misunderstood. I have no interest in
curtailing your freedoms! As you can imagine, when I thought you had signed
off from interacting with me for life, I was devastated. When suddenly you
came back to life, I wanted to check in and see what had resulted in this
big change of heart.

c) if you can't get a thicker skin, take 2 Advil, Excedrin, or
Midol.

Goodness, you really are in a snit today.

In your world, I am sure you can just move on if you really wanted to,
but then as I said earlier, You still get to much juice from the
attention to move on. So carry on and protest your innosense. I have
apolpgized to you for any and all past injustice to you on my part.
