It was bought new by a racer that had it as a spare, never needed it, got
sick, died, and wife finally unloaded it.
It doesn't have the same base pattern as mine, it's pretty much unique to
'68 and '69. The crankshaft is the same, and I thought about harvesting that
for myself, but I can't bring myself to corrupt the thing.
Someday, someone will be doing a "cash is no object" restoration. And I'll
have a really nice payday.
Last retail on the crank was $2000, pistons at $200 per...... the thing is
worth it's weight in silver at least.

All I'm doing is letting all the boards know I have it. Someone will
remember that when the time comes.

How the heck did you find NOS from '77? Surely you've got to
be at least 'thinking' about using it. :^)
