In Don's defense the Cuban exiles involved in the invasion were trained
and
armed by the US CIA, all at the approval of Kennedy....so it was in fact a
US led operation. Additionally the invasion was indeed a complete failure
and a black eye to Kennedy.


Thank you. I knew the CIA were involved but wasn't sure if the military
were involved covertly.
