I went to a bit of effort to reply to an inquiry in a post here about Towing

After giving the subject some good thought and committing it to an email to

I'm certain this has happened to everyone, but I'm to the point that I'm not
responding to any more inquiries because it is just a waste of my time and
effort.
Certainly I realize that it happens because people use incorrect addressees
to limit the amount of junk mail they get. But if you ask a question how do
you expect people to answer it?
Sometimes I reply on the news group rather than to an individual and often
the reply never gets posted.
We've got to figure a better way to communicate! Or just read what's posted
and not bother with a reply.

If I were in your shoes, I'd try to determine why my replies weren't
getting posted to the news group. Must be a problem somewhere. I have
experienced delays in posts showing up, but if they *never* show up,
then the problem has usually been my fault.
Putting your email address openly in the news group is asking for spam
and/or unwanted emails from others in the group.
