Actually, there always is. The only ones not losing are the casino's and
bookies. The point spread is set up to get 50% bet on each team. And

they do not pay off 1:1, == great profit.

And I believe that if the point spread is matched......the house wins both
sides.

That's why you can buy a point on either side. :)
