The position deserves respect. The man in it must earn the respect. Bush
has.

I don't wish misfortune on ANYONE, John. You say the position deserves
respect, and that the occupant of the position must earn that respect. But,
we each have our "minimum requirements" for respect. What can I say? He
doesn't meet any of mine.

He does own some very nice ties, though.
