Why do you feel it's our 'duty' to send aid to any and every disaster
on the planet?

I didn't mention "duty".

On the news I saw a woman , in some small country that got hit,
complaining that they haven't received enough aid. While I do feel
sorry for her in her situation , I don't like her all too typical,
victim mentality, attitude.

She needs a good kick up the arse, eh?
She needs to forget about her dead husband, and children. She should stop
whining and get a job. Once she gets a job she will be able to buy herself
a heliciopter so that she can go and get herself a water purifier, and some
food.

Unfortunately, the lazy scrounging bitch used to work in a factory. She
earned three dollars a week for 80 hours a week in a local factory. The
factory no longer exists. Her house no longer exists.

I don't like a victim mentality any more than you do. Fortunately, I don't
have to watch the type of TV stations who cater for the redneck viewer, so
I've not seen people *pretending* to be victims. The pictures that I've
seen speak for themselves.

She should be grateful if and when aid arrives, instead of expecting
it and complaining about the lack of it.

Let's hope that she doesn't get killed by cholera before she gets access to
clean drinking water again.
