Yes it is. For one thing, they don't use big wooden clubs, hence the
expression "F-U as a football bat."

Football. Is that the game where they pick up the ball in their hands and
run around with it? Shouldn't it therefore be called 'handball'? We have a
game called 'football' over here - the idea is to hit the ball with your
foot (hence the name).
