Only problem with that i think would be removing the existing letters,
wouldn't that take some of the finish off?

You should be able to get replacement letters. They may not match exactly

My guess is it will be cheaper just to remove and have a lettering shop
make
you two new script names in whatever color you want. 3" letters should be
about $30.00 or so for both sides.
