A friend of mine is in hospital as I write recovering from 2 broken
legs, an exploded knee and two smashed ankles after a "malfunction"
with his sports chute.
They say he may one day walk in a fashion that resembles normal.

How sad! At least he's still alive! I've know of many skydiver friends
with serious accidents. One of them wasn't so fortunate and made his own
grave about 3 feet in the wet ground. Very sad!
