Not sure how your comment relates to removing a vinyl bootstripe?

Had a lot of fun with mine. The boat had a 2-3 degree list and the
previous owners had painted the bootstripe to match the waterline with the
list.
Really could have used one of those cheap laser levels from Harbor
Freight, would have made the job a lot easier.

I saw someone using one of those wheels here in the
marina. Takes the stripe off without damaging the gelcoat.
Seems well worth it to me.

Hi Folks

My boat has stripping down each side just above teh waterline that is
showing signs of wear. It isn't painted on, it's peel and stick 3M
stripping. I'd like to remove it and replace it.

Anybody have any clever ways of getting it off? 3M sells a wheel that
supposedly removes it easily (withh a drill). Has anybody used one?
Chemicals? Or just elbow grease?

Real world experiences would be nice to hear.

Thanks muchly!
Jimmy
