If it requires a response from you, then it's over. If transmission
is reinitiated, then you go back to square one in protocol. If the
question does not require a end response from you, then over and out.

However, all this is mute because anybody who has ever listened to
marine VHF along the east or west coast, it's as bad as CB. :)
