Jonathan,
You are either doing a very convincing job of impersonating someone with
serious problem, or you really do have a serious problem. You need to do
more than just take a few days off. You need to do some serious
introspection. The problem with people who have disorders is that they just
don't recognize it. They have no internal correction mechanism.
Introspection may not work for you. You are definitely denying the traits
you have. You are actually worse than the thing you are supposedly
attacking. You've made yourself lower than the "evil" you supposedly abhor.
Worst yet is that you are literally consumed by this. For you it's not fun,
it's some type of maniacally driven behavior. All different types of people
are telling you this, over and over. Who would ever sail with such a madman?
People tell you this out of disgust, some tell you this in hopes you would
go away. A few tell you this because they actually care for you. It's the
ones that care that matters. Please, please find someone to help you work
this all out. I will pray for you. Amen.

Nav,
Thanks for the thoughtful post.
I've been posting here since before Neal bothered to get a system capable
of
posting, and I will be here long after he leaves permenantly, hopefully
sooner rather than later, but either way. While I appreciate your
interest,
it seems to me that your comments should be directed toward those who
continually make themselves into buffoons. No, I'm not immune to this, and
will certainly consider this for future posts.
I cannot control what others think of me. I haven't changed my positions,
and I don't lie nor steal. That cannot be said of others. A couple of
these
people, Neal included, have been so far out of the mainstream with their
posts and other activities, that their ISPs shut them down for a time.
Neal,
specifically, has wasted people's time and money in his childish attempt
to
intimidate me, to shut me up. It hasn't work, and will never work.
Actually, I've not been that "upset" by the barbs. There's mostly nothing
new in them. Clearly, Neal is quite upset. Others, such as Katy, directed
their anger at me, when they know or should know that I was not the one to
blame. Clearly, they're upset, but again, there's not much I can do about
it.
As to taking a break from posting, I've taken many breaks. But, people
like
Neal continue their ridiculous behavior break or not. One thing I will not
do is shut up when faced with the language they use. This newsgroup is not
my whole life, unlike Neal, who has no life, which is obvious. I find it
to
be an interesting forum, occasionally learn something new, occasionally
contribute something useful, and enjoy the give and take. Some of the
people
are outstanding, including some I've met and some I hope to meet someday.

Dear Jonathan
I know you can post pretty much what you like but I wish you would
review
your posts of late and reflect on how you appear to others. I know that
you have been upset by the barbs of some, but a man can take such weak
arrows and laugh as yet more fly at his back. I therefore entreat you to
stop posting for a day or two, gather your thoughts and pick fights you
can win with style. Just reducing all interaction to the same set of
replies just bores everyone, reduces their opinion of you as a person
and
does you, personally, no good either.
Cheers MC
