No professional photographer would ever get red eye shots.... it's way to
easy to avoid.
Mooron, red eye occurs on some shots with EVERY camera with a built in flash.
The new 8800 has built in processing to clean it up. With an external flash,
top mount, it can STILL happen. No photographer can avoid it all of the time,
just like no photographer gets every shot in focis. No way, no how. Mounting
the flash to the far left on a L-grip can help a lot, but even that's not a
100% cure. You don't have a clue as to what you're talking about. Red Eye is
the flash bouncing off the retina and into the lens.
It will even occur in B&W shots, but it aint red.
