Thanks, but it's premature for commiserations. The 14+ year old "pup" is
still alive and kicking, which is another reason for our temporary
independent travel plans. The day is coming very soon, but Mrs. E. can't
bear to part with him until he begins to suffer.

Sorry I misunderstood, thought you weren't going till ..... but hey
that's great news.

She has three of these Westie dogs, two males and one female. The female
(Molly) is 3 years old and is a hoot. The two males, (Major and Minor) are
both old timers at 14 years, but still act like puppies most of the time.
Major (the sick one) is the alpha and Minor, who I swear is retarded, is
emotionally attached to Major big time. We decided that I should take Minor
with me on this trip so it won't be a big shock to his emotional well-being
when the day comes that Major bites the dust. So, Minor is with me and has
decided that I am his new best friend. He is also the one that jumped up on
the doorsill of the landyacht last year while I was pumping gas. His paw hit
the electric lock button and locked me out of the RV with the keys inside,
with a line of cars behind me waiting to get gas.

Love it!!! a minor problem really & I suppose he was totally
entertained by all the fuss:-)

He knows what it's like to have a near-death experience.

I bet you didn't!!! I bet you were just as amused as he was:-) as were
"some" in the line.

Glad Major is still the major dog. You know that while you're there Mrs
E is regularly visiting her GB don't you, just to sit & look at it; I
would be too:-)
