Vito,

The year 1947, the General Assembly of the United Nations, when the UN
was still located at Lake Success, N.Y. , Voted to create the country of
Israel. It was Passed. The very next day, the Jews living in this area
was attacked by a coalition of Arab nations.

This was made necessary by Britain giving up its role as Protectorate
and management of the detention camps of illegal Jewish immigrants.

These illegals were created by the release of Hitler's death camps and
Jew that had been in hiding. Their homes and wealth had been stolen by
the Nazis'.

A modern day band of "Wandering Jews" were created but there was no
Wilderness for them to Wander in. The Jews in Palestine were the only
people willing to except them. By the way, those Jews were citizens of
Palistine that wanted to take them. Legal citizens of Palestine that
lived in peace with many Arabs and at odds with many other Arabs. They
were a tough bred of Jew. Not the meek Jew of Europe that was easily
shipped of to the death camps. They had learned to fight for their right
to exist. Legal or illegal.

That my Friend Vito, is history from a WopScott who lived it.

Thank you. I think that is what I have been saying. Jews had been rounded
up from all over Europe, especially eastern Europe and France, and put into
labor/death camps and their homes and businesses had been sold to locals. As
these camps were liberated survivors first thought to go home but found no
homes to go to, their property now owned by locals - the "Wandering Jews"
you speak of. Only thing I'd add is that the meek among the Euro-Jews had
largely been weeded out - these were hard core survivors who joined their
brethern.
