Actually, I considered converting at one time, til I read about an Israeli
couple who couldn't marry. Seems she'd previously married a man who dumped
her without children, moved to America and got killed by a bus. Kosher law
required her to get pregnant by his brother who lived in Russia, or to hit
him with a shoe so many times while chanting a particular phrase, but he
couldn't get out of Kruchev's USSR and she wasn't about to go there. And I
