Yes, but with one heluva good story to tell!

OAN, we just heard about a friend (a pro jumper) who convinced her friend to
do a jump, even packed her chute so the newbie could feel more confident.
The newbie's chute failed and she was crushed to the tune of 9.8m/sec2.

A friend of mine is in hospital as I write recovering from 2 broken
legs, an exploded knee and two smashed ankles after a "malfunction"
with his sports chute.
They say he may one day walk in a fashion that resembles normal.
