Nonsense! Your stupid people have passed laws that ban smoking in the

air. What have they done about interest rates?
No they haven't , and they have done nothing about interest rates ,
those have reached a level consistent with rates the world over.
What our stupid Liberal voters have done is borrow heavily on the
equity in their homes.
That must make me an intelligent voter, then, as I own 2 of my 3
properties outright and the 3rd has a mortgage smaller than some of my
friends' credit card debts :-)
Any rise in interest rates will see them suffer
massive monthly repayments
Amen. I haven't forgotten Keating and 17% interest rates.

As I recall, you achieved that by cashing in on your Sydney
equity, correct? Means you can never go back, of course, but
that's no loss.
True, it's no loss but no, I still own a place in Sydney as well as
this one and a farm in the NSW country. One place too many really but
we've owned the farm for over 20 years, all the kids learnt to shoot,
ride bikes, cut trees down and drive up there. I figure that in about
3-5 years the kids will start going up by themselves so since we don't
need the money, might as well keep it.
