Default Lubbers don't understand

Lubbers like Bobsprit just don't understand nautical terms.

For example, Bobsprit thinks a holding tank is where they put
him most Friday nites when he gets drunk and rowdy.

He thinks only of his wife when he hears the word, 'anchor.'

'In irons' is a game he plays with his boyfriends.

A slip is something Bobsprit wears under his bathrobe.

A knot log is something he tosses into the fireplace.

A sheet is something he sleeps on but never washes.

When he hears the term 'off shore' he thinks of companies
outsourcing.

Lifeline is a friend from AA he calls to keep him from drinking.

A sole is the thing with a hole in it on the bottom of his shoe.

Bridge deck to Bobsprit is that part of a highway overpass on which
he drives his Hugo.

A hatch means call the exterminator because the carpet in his apartment
if full of hungry, young fleas.

You get the picture. Can anybody think of some more?
