Well you can't plane it with an 8hp. Nor a 9.9hp... ;-)
Probably a lot less $ for the 8hp and same engine block...
I find the idea of paying more for a "hopped up" 1 or 2 cylinder, rather
than going for the next larger displacement kind of a head scratcher
personally.
