Downwind Floppy Genoas?
Loyd, I had one and thought it was neither a good genoa or fake
spinnaker.
My Ranger 23 performed better under the full genoa (for some reason I
think it was a 170?).
I even tried to use a whisker pole but no good.
If you want to spend money, a real good lightweight full sized genoa
would be a better bet for light air, (or be a better man than I and
just rig for a spinnaker).

Hi,
OK, here's a boating-related question (Most Rebs and Dems will have NO
IDEA what I'm talking about, but what the hell...):
What's the Story on Cruising Spinnakers (I like to call them "downwind
floppy genoas, because they act more like gennys than true spinnakers)?
They used to be All The Rage, now I rarely see one.
I'm getting a new genny for Far Cove in the near future, so was
wondering if a C.S. was worth the cost.
Comments?
