Max,
You seem like an intelligent person.
Why didn't you dispute the results of the survey that discovered that
stupid
Americans voted for Bush?
Anyone can make a survey appear to support their viewpoint, however
distorted or wrong it may be. Here's the way I see it:
Republicans, in general:
business owners (generally educated and intelligent)
physicians and other health care providers (all educated and intelligent)
white collar employees (generally educated and intelligent)
pastors, priests, what have you (all educated, some intelligent)
country club members (successful people, read: educated and intelligent)
religious right (who knows)
Democrats, in general:
union members (some educated, most not, a few intelligent)
non-working poor (make your own guess)
working poor (uneducated, very few intelligent)
lawyers (educated, a few intelligent, many corrupt)
movie and TV stars (some educated, some not; a few intelligent, many stupid,
untalented, and damned lucky to be where they are)
Members of the mainstream media (educated, most intelligent, save Dan
Blather)
Homeless (never mind)
Demographic analysis of elections has never been particularly accurate, or
exemplary of the way thing happen. But liberals will grasp at any crumbs
thrown their way these days.
Who did *you* vote for?
None of your business.
Max
