I have often silently wondered the same. Should we not have covertly backed
Saddam until he exterminated *all* of radical Islam? Then we could take him
out with a plan 20 years in the making.

Cinque Terre a couple of weeks ago, the hotel owner said an interesting
thing. He said we should not have removed Saddam. We should have armed

even more, so he could kill more Muslims. Send him after Iran. You do
realize that there is not a lot of love for Muslim's over there.
