I was relying on a paragraph in the Seattle Times' 3-part series about WalMart.
The WSJ reports different numbers, still extremely high for a mini-wage
worker.
$1000 deductible, plus 20% of all actual medical costs after the deductible (up
to $1750). No coverage at all for vaccinating children, eye drops,
contraceptives, chiropractic care, etc. $50 penalty added to the additional
premium deducted from every paycheck for spousal coverage, if that spouse has
access to health insurance through any other plan.
