One other thing to remeber is that GMRS is USA only service and is not
covered by any Reciprical Agreement with other countries. One could
however add Onboard Communications UHF Radio system to any Maritime
Mobile Ship Station License, and as I remeber these are also GMRS/FRS
Frequencies as well. This would allow operation anywhere that the USA
has Reciprical Agreements for Maritime Mobile operations.
