I'm a trailer boater: I carry a spare prop and wrench in the tow vehicle
when we're boating out of town, so I don't have to waste valuable weekend or
vacation time getting a prop repaired. I'll take my chances on limping back
to the trailer with a dinged prop.

I have never bothered to have an aluminum prop reworked, but I have had

a
coupel stainless steel props done. So far no problems. One little tip
though. Carry a spare prop. I do.

I just carry a spare engine... There's no way I'm getting in the water to
change a prop.
